The Paradis

A Jazz Age beauty in a modern world

The Paradis is still sailing in the same elegant style as in 1920, the year she was built. What’s more, her narrow build and low overhead allow her to go everywhere, from the narrow, romantic canals of the Jordaan to the heart of the famous Red Light District.
The ship has been renovated to add such modern features as heating, a stereo system and a complete bar.

A cruise of this elegance calls for elegant refreshments.
On Paradis you can be served deluxe canapés, hors d’oeuvres or tapas for up to 12 guests, or a complete dinner party for up to 8.
For a classic 3-, 4- or 5-course dinner we work with some of Amsterdam’s most acclaimed restaurants, such as La Rive, Excelsior, Zuid Zeeland and Christophe. During a dinner cruise, we tie up for each course at a different restaurant, with the course served on board. We can also arrange an Indonesian rijsttafel or a Thai menu.

The Paradis is steered by a professional ship’s captain who will also act as your guide, introducing you to the city and its glorious history. The spacious afterdeck has a roof that can be opened in good weather for a truly unforgettable cruise.

The belle of the water

Belle Epoque is a graceful saloon boat built in 1910. She has been fully restored and equipped to modern technical specifications, while preserving the authentic charm of her earliest days.

She is our roomiest boat, accommodating up to 28 passengers for an exclusive cocktail party and up to 20 passengers for a dinner party in style. In fine weather, the entire afterdeck, including the roof, and the windows of the saloon can be opened.

The stylish marble bar on board Belle Epoque serves an extensive selection of drinks, while the classic interior with its raw silk curtains, leather upholstery and varnished teak recalls the ship’s distinguished past. For comfort, the boat is equipped with hot-air heating, plumbing, and a stereo system, and her relatively high ceilings ensure that guests will be able to stand easily.

We will spare no effort to give you and your guests an unforgettable cruise on Belle Epoque. The dinners on board are catered by the city’s finest gourmet restaurants.
